Job details
Perform land/field surveys andgeodetic calculations.Interface with clientand contractors to determine and verify project surveyrequirements.Complete the surveyingrequirements on schedule and within man-hour and costbudgets.Check setting-out and levels. Checkservices locations and ensure theirprotection.Prepare sketches to support thefield work. Maintain all the survey information (field books,sketches and calculations).Measure work donewhen required.Observe site safetyprocedures.Assist in the preparation of'as-built' drawings.Actpositively and participate in all health and safety issues at site,as required by the Resident Engineer, and project SafetyRepresentative.Perform other responsibilitiesassociated with this position as may beappropriate.
