Ship Turnaround: 3.Ensure cost efficient and timely turnaround of vessels bycoordinating with all parties related to cargo operations,departures and vessels berthing. 4. Visit the ship at the time ofarrival/departure and such other times as may be required 5.Arrange for inward and outward clearances of vessel by getting allarrival and departure formalities completed with customs andimmigration. 6. Ensure that all supplies, crew change and otherservices as may be requested by Master are arranged in a timelymanner. Management of Funds: 7. Ensure funds are received intoagency account prior to berthing. Also analyze port/marine/agencycharges and ensure Performa Disbursement Account is sent to theclients in a timely manner. 8. Disburse Final Distribution Accountto principals on receipt of invoices and departure of vessels.Documentation: 9. Ensure all documentation is prepared prior toarrival and at time of departure in a timely manner. 10. Ensurethat details of vessel arrival/departure and expenses incurred areupdated in relevant systems. Scheduling and Coordination betweenparties: 11. Coordinate the arrival and launch times with theship's schedule, synchronizing vendor request, arrivaldates and needs or directions from the pilot or captain. 12. Ensurea berth for the incoming ship as well as arrange for the pilot andthe tugs if necessary. Accountabilities - 2 GenericAccountabilities: Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment(QHSE): 13. Adhere to all relevant IMS policies, procedures,instructions and controls so that NAKILAT provides safe, worldclass, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers,the public and its own people. Policies, Systems, Processes& Procedures: 14. Follow all relevant departmental policiesand procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled andconsistent manner.
