Job details
Responsiblity;Reviewing ourmanufacturing specifications to identify materials needed forproduction.Researching, sourcing, andassessing the best vendors to supply the necessarymaterials.Visiting vendor facilities andobserving the manufacturing environment to review and assess theirprocedures.Performing regular quality controlaudits to ensure vendors continue to work in compliance withcompany and federal standards.Reviewingincoming supplies and products from vendors to check for defectsand ensure quality.Conducting tests andassessments on products to identify qualityissues.Maintaining detailed reports onsupplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result inflaws.Providing technical advice and guidanceto suppliers to reduce defect rates.Serving asa liaison between our company's senior management and thevendors to identify quality issues and come up withsolutions.
