Call/WhatsApp: 95601 74030Work Location: Qatar (On-Site)Salary (Per Month in QAR): 22,000We are looking for Sr. Construction Engineers who want to work in Qatar.JOB PURPOSE: To contribute to the development of projects and deliver various parts of the projects within the set parameters such as time, quality and cost to ensure customers' and contractors' satisfaction at all times. Provide on-site management and supervision of civil/structural construction works mainly related to District Cooling networks, structures, and plants. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. • Review design drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, method statements, ITPs, risk assessment and materials with compliance to required project specifications and proper coordination with other engineering disciplines and specialists. • Provide input to value engineering activities in order to support in identifying the most appropriate delivery methods in line with quality expectations and ensure cost effectiveness. • Support the development of project scope of work and tender documentation in line with project objectives and requirements. • Provide support during the tendering phase in evaluating bidders in line with technical requirements for the project. • Provide support to the concerned stakeholder in planning and executing project plans ensuring alignment to project scope of work. • Supervise and monitor contractors work on a regular basis, coordinate activities, and resolve issues in order to ensure projects are executed as per the work schedule and quality standards. • Assess project deliverables to check progress and ensure they meet project requirements and conduct initial evaluation of scope variation requests. • Ensure project documentation is effective maintained in line with document control processes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: • 5 years of relevant work experience in utilities, infrastructure, and plant construction in GCC JOB-SPECIFIC SKILLS (GENERIC / TECHNICAL): • Proficiency in English • Strong communication and inter-personal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with the authority regulations in Qatar • Good knowledge of QA/QC processes in construction management • Good knowledge of industry practices, local regulations, specifications, international standards and new technologies • Computer literacy (AutoCAD and Microsoft Office in particular)
