Note: This position is only for the resident of Abbottabad, Haripur and Manshera or those willing to move.SoloSoft Technologies Pvt Ltd in IT Park, Abbottabad is looking for Business Development Manager for GIS operations.We are offering following services in GIS:- Training Program in GIS & RS.- GIS Project Consultancies.Job Responsibilities:-Coordinates a variety of projects and/or activities for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established guidelines.-Work with GIS team to Design technical courses for the purpose of training personnel in the use of computer applications according to clients.-Market our GIS services and products.-Monitors fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activity for the purpose of ensuring that allocations are accurate, related revenues are generated, expenses are within budget limits and/or fiscal practices are followed.-Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.-Prepares a variety of materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information.-Researches software applications and hardware requirements for the purpose of previewing products to provide recommendations regarding applications and purchases.-Responds to inquiries for the purpose of providing information and/or direction.-Serves as liaison to software/hardware providers for the purpose of conveying and/or receiving information and coordinating district activities.-Actively involved in the design and development of GIS services and products. Job Specification Candidate must be graduate in Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geophysics with basic knowledge of GIS softwares. Ideal candidate will be a resident of COMSATS Abbottabad campus and the resident of Abbottabad with experience in GIS projects.
