About thisrole:• Promote & comply withapplicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures inall activities;• Carry out work in compliance with COMPANYvalues and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANYpriorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures andgood industry practices;• Ensure, control andcoordinate the proper realization of the detailed engineering forfield instrumentation and, as a support, for instrumented controland safety systems (ICSS);• Ensure and control the properrealization of the detailed engineering of LLI and packagesvendors;• Ensure the good progress ofinstrumentation/ICSS engineering in compliance with projectspecifications and procedures, COMPANY specifications, disciplinerequirements and international codes, with respect of cost,schedule and required level of quality and safety applicable tothis project;• Promote field instrumentation technicaloptimization/cost savings, ensuring first that they are compliantwith the project schedule and the contracts, liaising with thepackage lead through the engineeringcoordinator;• Identify potential deviationsfrom the COMPANY referential and report these to the EngineeringManager for final decision on whether or not toimplement;• Ensure that instruments are standardizedacross batch3 project, in line with sitepolicies;• Ensure close coordination with otherdisciplines on all engineering, constructability and operationalmatters;• Ensure that relevant feedback from previoussimilar projects are considered in the designperformance;• Participate actively in technicaldecision making, in meetings with potential contractors andvendors;• Participate in the technical analysis of offersand assist in vendor selection;• Assistance inthe finalization of contractual documents;• Participate inweekly and monthly meetings with Contractors, and in specific adhoc meetings as required by management;•Provide technical answers to technical queries and provide supportin deviations requests related to instrumentation and ICSSissues;• Manage assistance from shareholder specialists(remote head office), when required;•Participate to HAZID/ HAZOP/ Project Technical reviews sessionswith COMPANY, Contractors and vendors teams, and provide technicalanswers to the points raised;• Participate in equipmentFAT, SAT and other inspections at site/vendor premises asrequired;• Contribute to the engineering andtechnical interfaces;• Ensure detailed progress reportingto project management;• Assist projectmanagement team to reply to various correspondence by providingtechnical support;• Carry out any other duty or task thatmay be assigned by hierarchical superiors in line with disciplineexpertise;• Treat all information obtainedduring course of the work withconfidentiality.
