A Senior Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional treatments and services for guests, including but not limited to body and facial treatments, massages, home care advice and tour of the facilities. Maintaining safety and cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction regarding all areas of Spa services in accordance with company standards.What will I be doingAs a Senior Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapiesMaintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as requiredCleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each useExplaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.To ensure high standards of cleanliness in the departmentTo report any maintenance issues to Spa DirectorAssist in all areas of the operations as requested by Spa DirectorTo be fully aware of current and future services offered by the hotelTo ensure that departmental operation budget is adhered to, maximizing revenues and minimizing expensesAttending Hilton Trainings and monthly departmental meetings as requiredProvides efficient guest service from point of arrival to check out. Books, changes and cancels appointments and up sells retailAccurately schedule all massage reservations, changes, confirms and cancel massage reservationsAccurately process all billing and posting for spa and retail services: report any overages and shortages to Spa DirectorAccurately explain spa treatment menu and packages to guestsGreet and welcome all incoming and outgoing guests and staff in accordance to brand StandardsMaintain the quality of service and overall appearance of locker areas, lounge area and restroomsEnsure proper cleanliness of locker room, lounge, steam/sauna room, prep room and restroomsEnsure stocking of water and other beverages are set up and break down of beverage and fruit stationTo ensure audio-visual equipment is well maintained and in good conditionTo ensure high standards of cleanliness in the departmentProvides courteous and efficient guest service from point of arrival through check outOrient the guests through our Fitness facility, greets guests and provides personal guest serviceWhat are we looking forA Senior Spa Therapist serving Hilton Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to read, writes, speak and understand English to effectively communicate with guestsAbility to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of organizationAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:Experience in a resort or wellness related field, or in HospitalityRecognized diploma/ certificate. CIDESCO, CIBTAC, NVQ level 3, International Diploma is also considered.2 years in 5 Star SpaPassionate about Retail salesPerform advanced facial with machine and body treatmentsExpert in skin analysisTraditional Moroccan Hammam is a plusSound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques
