xiQ is looking for a Wordpress Developer!
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development, including building custom themes and plugins, as well as experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Responsibilities:
Build custom WordPress themes and plugins
Work with the design team to implement responsive designs
Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create dynamic and interactive elements
Optimize a website performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure a successful website launch
Stay up to date with the latest WordPress development trends and best practices
Convert Figma designs into landing pages using WordPress
Custom and Third party API integration
Communicate with team members and stakeholders to keep them updated on the project status
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in CS, SE or relevant
3-5 years of experience as a WordPress Developer
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
Strong knowledge of Wordpress architecture, best practices, and coding standards
Experience with building custom WordPress themes and plugins
Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good understanding of SEO and web accessibility
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
