Job Description
We are looking for a competent WordPress developer to work with a team on client projects. You will collaborate with our designers, create and modify themes, and work on setting up and developing plugins as required.
To ensure success as a WordPress developer, you should possess extensive knowledge of WordPress and experience in a similar role.
WordPress Developer Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing new features and functionality
Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS (WordPress)
Strong knowledge & Experience with WooCommerce.
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Understanding of hosting cPanel (HostGator & GoDaddy etc) and knowledge of domain registration, transfer, and DNS.
Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
Designing and building the website front-end.
Creating the website architecture.
Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
Conducting website performance tests.
Troubleshooting content issues.
Conducting WordPress training with the client.
Monitoring the performance of the live website.
WordPress Developer Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including open source visual builders, debugging and fixing any errors that occur in live websites after the update of any plugin/theme.
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Rs. 50,000- Rs. 60,000 per month
