Establish standard contractingguidelines for the organization to engage in alliances with serviceproviders, vendors and subcontractors with due regard to legalframeworks in the context of operationsinvolved.Advise on most suitable andalternative procurement route and contracttypeEstablish best practices in thepreparation of contract documents andtenders.Seek guidance from the DirectorContracts Manager Procurement and Contracts to ensure dataadequacy.Lead qualification process forappointment of contractors and vendors.Chairvendor meetings and negotiate contracts with subcontractors andservice providers.Specify contractual terms,timelines and service levelagreements.Interpret all contractual (tendersand subcontracts) agreements in the context of project managementtimelines, cost and other parameters and advises the ProjectManagement Team on contractual rights andobligations.
