About the job Account Payable ExceutiveResponsibilities:Invoice Processing:Efficiently process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.Verify coding, obtain approvals, and enter invoices into the NetSuite system.Payment Processing:Execute timely and accurate payments through various payment methods (checks, ACH, wire transfers) in compliance with payment terms.Reconcile payment records with vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.Vendor Management:Maintain effective communication with vendors to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive vendor relationship.Regularly update vendor information in the NetSuite system.Expense Reimbursement:Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.Reconcile credit card statements and ensure proper documentation for expenses.Month-End Close:Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.Reporting:Generate and analyze reports from NetSuite to provide insights into accounts payable metrics.Prepare ad-hoc reports as required by management.Compliance:Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and make recommendations for process improvements.Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and other departments, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.Strong understanding and hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP system.Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
