With current 35 clinical faculty our department is one of the biggest Anaesthesia department in country, our faculty is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and our programs are recognized at national and international level.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:perform preoperative and postoperative roundsprepare theatre for scheduled surgerymake anaesthesia management planadminister anaesthesia according to assigned privilegesmanage patients in PACU / CICUperform initial assessment and make initial management planperform daily rounds with CICU consultantbe available on the premises when on-callhandover and takeover charge from the outgoing teamattend to all patient related issues and counsel when on-call including the operating room, CICU, CCU, Cath Lab, emergency room and wardcommunicate patient's clinical status with senior on call resident and consultants when needed.Requirements You should have: MBBS one year house job or internship FCPS Part 1 is mandatory, FCPS Part ll is preferred completed two years IMM Training in Anaesthesia from the structured training program recognised by CPSP or two year experience in Anaesthesia adequate basic science knowledge adequate clinical knowledge in the primary specialty ability to perform patient assessment including history taking and physical examination, interpretation of laboratory and radiological investigations. valid certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation ability to apply clinical knowledge procedural skills to be able to perform assigned procedures good interpersonal skills commitment to practice according to basic principles of medical ethics.
