Job details
Participate in the assessment andcoordination with the team in regard to the definition andspecification of requirements.Provide supportin the specification, design, development, implementation, andmaintenance of existing and newapplications.Train and provide technicalsupport to users to facilitate productive use of theapplications.Support the configuration,administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security ofapplications and databases.Create, manage, andmaintain database objects to be used for applications andreports.Implement software development SOPsestablishing source control, backup, recovery, and issue trackingusing IOM standard tools.Assist in thepreparation of technical and user documentation, as well as in theproduction of training materials.Respondpromptly within accepted timeframes to requests for the support andenhancement of applications facilitating continued operation ofsaid applications.Incorporate IOM'sData Protection Principles and ICT Standard on Software Developmentinto all IT/IS solutions and servicedelivery.Consult with IM manager and otherdepartments as required.Undertake duty travelin support of the project.Support applicationDevelopment including:Assist in Coding,testing, and debugging computer programs fromspecification.Assist in writing programs andcompiling data to test program.Assist in thedevelopment of program flow charts.assistingin writing specification of programs.Supportapplication documentation including:Creatingdocumentation for developed projects.Updatingand maintaining application documentation whennecessary.Drafting ofreports.Perform such other related duties asmay be assigned.
