Supports and directs clinicalservice, research and educational activities of theDivision.Develops and validates test andorderable menu for hematopathology and transfusion, working withcolleagues in hematopathology, immunopathology, medicalmicrobiology, medical biochemistry, and other clinical andlaboratory specialties.Provides direction andassists in the validation and testing of the laboratory informationsystem as it relates to hematopathology.Leadsand assists in quality assurance of the Division and theDepartment.Assists in the hiring of colleaguesand technologists.
