Job description K'awat'si Consulting and Management Services is seeking a Capital Projects Coordinator to join our team in Port Hardy, located on the Northern end of Vancouver Island. This is not a remote position. The Capital Projects Coordinator assists the Executive Director of K'awat'si Consulting and Management Services and Projects Manager with administrative duties and processes as needed. The ideal candidate has excellent time management and organizational skills, and experience in a similar field. What We Offer:

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Help the Capital Project Manager/Director with administrative duties and processes.
  • Make phone calls and assist in meeting project requirements and milestones.
  • Keep track of budgets and project expenditures.
  • Help to set up project meetings.
  • Handle the minute-taking at meetings.
  • Organize venues.
  • Assist with planning.
  • Keep the project calendar up to date.
  • Track projects.
  • Offer suggestions to improve efficiencies.
  • Maintain compliance regulations.
  • Assess employee performance.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Capital Projects Manager/Director.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Three years of experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Gmail.
  • Familiarity with construction software is an asset.
  • CAPM certification (or in process) is considered an asset.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Team player with leadership skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
