Director, Corporate Services - ICTA 2 (1 Position) at ICT Authority

Job Description The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Information Communication and Technology. The corporation was established in August . The Authority is tasked with rationalising and streamlining the management of all Government of Kenya ICT functions. Our broad mandate entails enforcing ICT standards in Government and enhancing the supervision of its electronic communication. We also promote ICT literacy, capacity, innovation and enterprise in line with the Kenya National ICT Masterplan . ICTA/DCS/O1/ For appointment to this grade, an officer must: At least twelve years relevant work experience either in public or private sector, five of which should have been in senior management position; Have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, Economics, Business Administration; Finance, Public Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Have a Masters degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or Equivalent Qualification from a recognized institution; Leadership Course lasting not less than four weeks from a recognized institution Be registered with a relevant professional body; Be of integrity, transparency and accountability as per Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya,; Have a clear understanding of the ICT Authority’s Mandate and the role of the Corporate Services Directorate in realisation of that mandate; and Have demonstrated outstanding professional, managerial and leadership competence as reflected in Work Performance and Results Responsibilities: The Director, Corporate Services will be responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for overall coordination of corporate services functions of the Authority.
