The Company We are currently working with a leading global bank in Hong Kong and is seeking a qualified and experienced Operation Analyst The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Business Analyst to manage a team of business analysts and ensure the successful delivery of projects. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather data and analyze current state workflows across various functional areas, including Trade Management, Cash Operations, Fund Operations, Corporate Actions, Reconciliations, Derivative & Collateral, and Private Assets Operations. Additionally, you will work with third-party vendors to coordinate due diligence on middle-office operational processes and manage project risks and issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of investment operations and experience in implementing operational areas using platforms such as Aladdin. Strong communication, documentation, and prioritization skills are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of business analysts, providing guidance, support, and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather data and analyze current state workflows in Trade Management, Cash Operations, Fund Operations, Corporate Actions, Reconciliations, Derivative & Collateral, and Private Assets Operations.
- Coordinate due diligence on middle-office operational processes with third-party vendors.
- Identify, document, and manage project risks and issues related to the due diligence process.
- Develop functional specifications and document business processes for various functional areas.
- Prepare requirements definition documents, including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Lead discussions and actively participate in due diligence workshops where the Business Analyst has been involved in documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues.
- Continuously improve processes and methodologies for documenting current state operational workflows.
- Collaborate with test managers to develop operational test scenarios and validate test results on behalf of operational users.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in investment operations.
- Extensive experience and familiarity with the functional aspects of investment operations in a large asset management company, including trade management, corporate actions, derivative life cycle & collateral management, fund order processing, cash processing, reconciliations, portfolio accounting & reporting.
- Strong knowledge of operational aspects of various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, time deposits, FX, OTC & ETD, funds, and private assets.
- Prior experience in implementing operational areas using Aladdin and/or implementing outsourcing of asset management processing projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in working with test managers to develop operational test scenarios and validate test results.
- Proven ability to work with various stakeholders to manage the documentation of business processes, workflows, and business requirements.

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong ability to elicit information and exceptional documentation and presentation skills.
