- Marine Company located in NZ’s largest Superyacht Refit & Repair centre.
- Salary $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience.
- Hours 7am – 3:30pm

- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to integrate cutting-edge automation solutions.
- Designing and programming control systems for lighting, climate control, entertainment, security, and more.
- Conducting regular system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and providing technical support.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in yacht automation technology.
- PLC Programming (ladder, function block, structured text) – Fuji PLC
- HMI Programming – ProFace Screens
- Modbus communications
- CAN-Bus communications
- Data Management – Pro-Server EX
- Create and maintain project supporting documentation in Excel & Word formats.
- Provide remote support to overseas yachts, upload and maintain software changes.
- Field work commissioning & fault-finding of systems
- Travel to luxurious overseas locations
- General assistance to the company directors and other engineers

- Degree qualifications or a Trade certificate in either mechatronics/electronics/software or electrical.
- Testing, diagnostics and validation skills – strong problem-solving abilities.
- Programming ability to develop or assess PLC-based systems and implement design-based control system improvements.
- HMI application development experience.
- Advanced in AutoCad for Industrial Automation..
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Team player but able to work autonomously.
