  • We are looking at the person to be the lead for a Tech/Telco + some FMCG clients in the Philippines. The person would be responsible for understanding the client business and translating the same into insights and new revenue for NielsenIQ. Also, integrating insights from across studies (qual and quant) to deliver value to the clients. Business Development:
    • Identify areas of opportunity for growth from existing clients managed
    • Develop plans to cross-sell and introduce new services to current clients
      • Foster relationships at different levels and functions of the client organization (as applicable) to identify opportunities for incremental product/solution sales
    • If possible, provide continuous feedback on competitive activities within assigned clients.
    • Implement plans that will contribute to maximum client satisfaction and ensure continuous profitable and business growth.
    • Ensure client service standards are implemented and enhanced as client expectations continue to evolve and change
    • Lead the client servicing team and work closely with operations to ensure our commitments are met.
    • Liaise with teams outside Philippines (e.g. analytics, subject-matter experts, etc. to ensure the solutions are best adapted to meet client’s needs)
    • Provide product solutions and benefits to client business issues/opportunities by developing strategic initiatives for each client
    • Oversee the management and conduct of assigned research projects including preparation, approval, and delivery of proposals, reports, and presentations
    • Ensure team members are trained/ coached to handle client requirements.
    • Ensure adherence to the company policies on business conduct/ethics.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
    Financial & process related:
    • Ensure attention to costing & pricing at a project level – keeping in view total client relationship & implication on the total business.
    • Contracts are completed and approved according to company's policies and guidelines.
    People Management:
    • Utilize the NielsenIQ framework to communicate and assess performance objectives, competency lists and development plans for your team.
    • Ensure effective performance management system is implemented and aligned with regional directions in order to recognize desired performance for business advantage
    • Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
    • Contribute to development and implementation of training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow
    • Provide support, recognition, and feedback to assist associates in achieving the performance expectations and standards
    • Act as coach, guide, and mentor to employees
    • Ensure that associates are aware of the nature of their specific roles in relationship to the local market, the sub-region and overall regional operation
    • Establish a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client requirements.
    The role will demand:
    • Strong grasp of market research essentials and analytical abilities
    • People focused and energized by successful collaboration – able to build strong client relationship & trust + build strong bonds with the team (larger team as a whole)
    • Ability to recognize an opportunity (for business growth, for client value-addition, for people development)
      • Ability to hold a discussion with clients to understand a brief and recommend a suitable solution (be creative when situation demands)
    • Willingness to roll-up sleeves to ensure a commitment is met
    • Manage relationships and expectations as well as you manage projects , and your experience speaks for itself
    • Curiosity and critical thinking
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
      • Bachelor's degree in related field
      • At least 7- 10 years experienced in quantitative market research (either with agency or client)
      • Ideally exposure to tech/ telco clients. But this is not a must.
      • Good to have worked in the ‘Brand health’ & ‘Customer Satisfaction’ space.
      • Have at least some experiences working with a team.
      • Will be responsible for the accuracy of the regular reports shared to clients and should generate a presentation on a quarterly basis with the team.
      • Being extremely client-centric is a must.
      • Has knowledge of statistics, multivariate analysis, research techniques and methodologies.
      • Remote-hybrid based role, must be physically located within Philippines and candidate must be a Country/Region Resident.
