To learn more about us please visit The successful candidate will join our multi-discipline and cross-international team supporting in the development of projects in different sectors. Main Roles and Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for the social components of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) focusing particularly on social studies and impact management, which may entail tasks such as planning and executing social surveys, engaging with stakeholders, and more.
  • You will be responsible for social components of Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) and post-finance monitoring of projects, including identifying risks and impacts, reviewing compliance with project’s commitments and applicable international requirements, and reporting.
  • You will attend working and organizational meetings, client meetings, support project managers.
  • You will coordinate subcontractors, questionnaire teams.
  • You will support the development of technical reports.
Requirements (Skills, Qualifications, and Experience) for the Position:
  • A degree in sociology or similar,
  • Expertise in preparing ESIAs and ESDDs for Project Financing with a specific focus on Social Components Assessment, Impact Assessments, Stakeholder Engagement, Environmental and Social Management Systems,
  • Previous experience in the development of Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) will be considered as a plus,
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in tasks related to the aforementioned responsibilities, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Good understanding of national and international social standards, (IFC/EBRD/Equator Principles and similar),
  • Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken),
  • Strong technical interpretation, writing and reporting skills,
  • Good organizational ability and time management skills, punctuality in project delivery and operational matters,
  • Good communication skills with a wide variety of audiences,
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS),
  • Willingness and availability to travel and perform field work,
  • Experience and ability to work on several projects simultaneously,
  • Driving License (Class B) and experience in driving,
  • Familiarity with various social assessment tools and procedures.
