We are looking for a Senior Reporting Specialist for our global business partner operating in the pharmaceutical industry for which we provide consultancy. Senior Reporting Specialist is responsible for Record to Report (R2R) process for Affiliate and performs accounting activities regarding process matters and technical accounting expertise in IFRS and Sandoz required accounting standards. Senior Reporting specialist mainly performs the financial close process, prepares journal entries, reconciliations, financial and accounting analysis, supports resolution on operational open items (process and accounting) and prepares all data needed for internal and external financial reporting. Senior Reporting specialist reports to Financial Reporting Accounting Lead. Maintain IFRS ledgers including the preparation of related journal entries. Performs financial period-end closing and reporting in accordance with IFRS and Sandoz Accounting Standards, including responsibility for execution of related controls. (SOX, NFCM etc.) Support financial and accounting analysis involving complex transactions including but not limited to general accounting, fixed assets, intercompany and financial reporting activities/transactions.
Performs the balance sheet account reconciliations of allocated accounts and ensures timely resolution and cleans of overdue items identified. Provide timely, proactive support on the general ledger. Prepare analysis or reporting with particular emphasis on accuracy, compliance and timeliness of data provided, incl. commentaries. (i.e.: reports on profit and loss activity) Provide all data needed for internal (Financial Consolidation and Reporting System) and external reporting (including statutory accounts, national statistics and tax information) in a timely and accurate manner. Support the Statutory/IFRS Reporting process with 3rd parties, where applicable. Work closely with personnel in all departments to ensure compliance with company accounting and operational guidelines.
