Senior Credit Risk Analyst

SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST £40,000 REMOTE This role is an excellent opportunity to have a real impact in a small, collaborative lender. You'd get a unique opportunity to work across a range of projects, getting real breadth in your work and excellent exposure to senior people in the business. THE COMPANY We're working with an exciting lender that are in an exciting period of growth. They are well established in their lending and are now looking to grow out their analytics function, with the opportunity to really influence the direction of the business. This is a unique opportunity for someone to really add value and progress into the long term, helping a business with ethical lending at the forefront of their work. THE ROLE Within this, you can expect to work on:

• Developing lending strategies and broader insight into their lending book and portfolio performance
• Using Open Banking data to enhance lending and drive business decisions
• Working closely to analyse and monitor customer data to identify new business opportunities and space for growth
• Opportunity to build out the wider analytics function as the business grows
• Working on wider scorecard monitoring and implementation to improve lending decisions

• Background in consumer lending is essential
• Prior experience in developing and implementing credit strategies and wider portfolio analysis
• Understanding of and exposure to credit scoring models
• Experience working with Open Banking data is highly desirable
• Experience using SAS, SQL or Python
