HR Administrator (Grade IV) Fixed Term Post Are you an experienced HR Administrator with at least 2 plus years broad based HR administration experience? Are you looking for a new challenge? Our client, a major nationwide healthcare group, are now expanding & looking to hire a talented & ambitious individual to join their Limerick city-based team, on a fixed term contract basis, so if you are interested, please apply! The Role: Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR administrator will assist in all aspects of the delivery of an efficient and effective HR service in the Human Resources Department and actively participate in HR related projects, operations, and initiatives. Responsibilities to include: · Offer support to all staff and managers and deal with various queries about HR policies and procedures · Liaise and work collaboratively with staff of the HR Department · Maintain administrative systems and processes to support the HR functions · Maintain your own knowledge of relevant regulations, human resources policies and procedures, guidelines, good practice in HR to perform the role effectively · Prepare files, information, and statistics in accordance with requests from the HSE, HIQA, Auditors, Senior Management, the Head of HR etc. · Ensure that personnel records, HR metrics and statistics are kept up to date · Assist the recruitment function to co-ordinate and undertake all activity across the relevant service areas in accordance with the R&S Policy and Procedure and good HR practice Process vacancies from Request to hire, draft adverts, job descriptions and person specifications for manager’s review, arrange interview boards, send out and monitor Garda vetting, references, and medical assessments. · Issue Contracts of Employment to successful candidates and notify unsuccessful candidates and follow up on induction, probation documents and HR paperwork · Monitor all temporary contracts within allocated Service Area and ensure appropriate action is taken · Ensure files are archived regularly or destroyed in accordance with good practice and procedures and legislation · Assist in the production of standardised reports from the HR IT systems to maintain HR reporting processes.Produce regular and annual HR reports · Prepare and maintain appropriate records and provide statistical information as required from external agencies such as HSE in a timely manner Provide monthly updates to Senior Management team regarding absence levels, turnover and policy updates Skills and Experience that we need: · Be working towards or achieved Minimum Level 5 qualification in Human Resources on the QQI National Qualification Framework or equivalent qualification · Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR or another relevant area. · Be proficient in the operation and use of Computers, in particular HR IT systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and comply with obligations under the Data Protection Legislation and Freedom of Information Act · Ideally have an appreciation of the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and/or a background in this area. · Can analyse and interpret information, develop solutions, and contribute to decisions quickly and accurately · Full clean driving licence The Offer: This position is being offered on a fixed term contract basis with salary very much depending on the candidates’ skills and experience and can range from €32,297K- €51,103K per annum. (Admin Grade IV) Fully onsite role based in Limerick city office, Monday to Friday.
