Guarding Security Manager
Job details
We require a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join our Security team as a Security Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision of Security Supervisors and Security Officers. The Security Manager will be responsible for:
- Management and posting of Security staff at all client sites
- Ensure efficiency and productivity of Security Staff, including Security Site Managers, Supervisors and Officers
- To ensure that security employees conduct is professional and above reproach in terms of behaviour, dress, service, etc.
- See that company rules, procedures and policies are adhered to
- Ensuring that discipline is enforced
- Manage security contractors
- Risk assessment
- Ensure maintenance of security equipment
- Liaising daily with management on various operational issues
- Formulate disciplinary actions
- Submitting relevant weekly / monthly incident and general reports to Management
- Investigating incidents and reporting on such

Willing to work irregular hours and overtime. In good health and physical stature. Be trustworthy and honest. Ability to take responsibility
- Grade 12
- Security management
- At least 10 years' experience in the security industry.
- At least 5 years' experience in the Operational Security Management structure
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- A Grade PSIRA
- Bilingual
- Presentable
- Flexi hours
- To start as soon as possible
- Valid Driver's License required
- Own Transport
- Staff management experience is required.
- Computer literacy with expert knowledge of the complete Microsoft package
- No criminal record or any pending cases
- Firearm competencies (Business purpose)
