Senior Tour Consultant

Candidate Requirements:Must have at least 3 years of tour consulting experienceHave a well-established home office setup & ability to work from home full-timeMust be able to maintain good product knowledge of South Africa and neighbouring countriesBe able to do quoting based on clients' needsBe able to liaise with agents on requests, bookings, etc.Maintaining good relationships with agents and clientsOperate tours (groups series, once-off groups, FITs, MICE) from start to finish and take responsibility for all aspects of tours, including the accounting sideKnowledge of Lemax, TripClip & WetuBe able to do training to be fully operational on the quoting and operations system (LEMAX)Must have a good understanding of Google WorkspaceMust take initiative and ensure attention to detailBe able to put together detailed Travel documents about FIT travellersMust be a team player and be enthusiastic to assist colleagues, contribute to team targets and be energetic and have a passion for learning about travelMust have excellent time management and communication skills (internally as well as externally)Be professional and offer high service levels at all timesAbility to handle pressure and volumeBe a great multitasker, have general administration skills, ability to solve problems and/or help find solutions for problemsBe able to assist with crisis management, handling of complaints by gathering feedback from suppliers, guides, etc. and assist with annual tour series/once-off costings and proposalsMust have their own transport and a valid driver's licence This is a fully remote position. Candidates need to reside in Cape Town. 15 Days/ annum leave and 5-day work week.
