The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council of Higher Education (CHE).The IIE's Varsity College, Online Campus has Part Time vacancies for lecturers in the School of Education for the following:Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching.Competencies Required:Communication SkillsOrganisational SkillsEffective Classroom ManagementOpen to DevelopmentBlackboard Collaborate and MS Teams Proficient.Minimum Qualification Requirements:A minimum of a 4-year BEd degree plus, an Honours (BEd Hons) OR Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours OR Postgraduate Diplomain Education (at NQF level 8).The Undergraduate Qualification OR the Honours OR The Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF 8), must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.The Undergraduate Qualification or Postgraduate Qualification must include component subjects to at least NQF level 6 (usually the 2nd year of study) -isiZulu, IsiXhosa as a major.Minimum Work Experience Requirements:School Teaching Experience in component subjects (Required).Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).Training & Development: 3 years (Required).Teaching: 3 years (Required).Working Conditions:Owing to the volume of CVs received, we may not be able to contact all applicants personally.
