Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Photographer to join our photography studio, specializing in lifestyle, product, and video photoshoots. As a key member of our team, your primary goals will be to capture high-quality images for our clients, ensuring they meet the standards required for various platforms, including print, social media, and ecommerce.There is scope for you to grow, if you have been freelancing, we can chat about bringing on other clients aswell.Key Responsibilities:1.Capture high-quality images with a keen eye for detail, styling, and composition, ensuring they align with the branding and requirements of our clients.2.Assist in colour correction and image cleaning to enhance the overall quality of the photographs.3.Prepare for photoshoots by dressing, preparing, steaming, and ironing products for models and mannequins.4.Collaborate on mood boards and shotlists, contributing creative ideas and insights.5.Manage the check-in and check-out process of samples, recording relevant information such as product codes.6.Continuously identify areas for improvement in photography standards, focusing on lighting, background, mood, dimensions, and set-up of sets.7.Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance photography standards within the department.3.A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial photography, with retouching expertise.4.Experience in shooting product images for the web or ecommerce is advantageous.5.Natural ability to build relationships with team members and clients.6.Passion for the retail industry and a demonstrated understanding of its dynamics.7.Proficient in OS X, Photoshop, and Lightroom.8.Knowledge in videography, Illustrator, and InDesign is advantageous.9.Strong communication and media skills.10.Task and deadline-driven with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Application Process:If you meet the above requirements and are excited about the prospect of contributing to our dynamic team, please submit your resume, portfolio, and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this position.
