ASU -Beebe, a two-year residential community college part of the Arkansas State University System, is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidates interested in part-time teaching opportunities for the following criminal justice courses:a. Introduction to Criminal Justiceb. Introduction to Crime Scene Investigationc. Criminal Investigationd. Criminal Evidence and Proceduree. Introduction to Law Enforcementf. Ethical Dilemmasg. Community Relations in the Administration of JusticeCampus locations may include Beebe, Searcy, Heber Springs, LRAFB and online. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field; or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice. Preferred Qualifications A minimum of five years of working experience in the criminal justice system. Experience with online Learning Management Systems ( LMS ) such as CANVAS and video conferencing tools such as ZOOM are preferred. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
