Now's the time to imagine your potential in a team where experts come together and ignite effective change.Are you someone who can:Analyse, summarise and account for financial transactions pertaining to a business.Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance processes.Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives.Provide sound services and recommendations based on customer and client needs, current information and trends.Adhere to financial reporting guidelines set out by First Rand.Execute relevant projects and initiatives in line with strategic objectives.Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions of the business unit.Provide accounting information to support business performance.Support availability of financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing and reporting financial data.Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.Develop and nurture internal relationships within FNB enabling collaboration.Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information by adhering to deadlines as per the Segment financial reporting calendar.Ensure accuracy, validity and completeness of:All statutory reporting (HFM: FinRep, BARep and VATRep)General ledger journal processing of Journal transactionsBalance sheet reconciliation and compilation of the suspense dashboards.Intercompany reconciliations, analysis and confirmations with various stakeholders. Loading these into HFM and addressing and resolving any queries with counterparties.Reconciliations of data from various source systems.Monthly analysis of income statement, noting all material variances and explanation thereof.Engage with various stakeholders to ensure that monthly accruals are accounted for before the general ledger closes.Processing of online banking transactionsFixed asset register maintenanceYou will be an ideal candidate if you:Diploma/Degree in Financial Accounting or related qualificationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel3-4 years of experience in a similar roleJob DetailsApplication Closing Date24/04/24All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group's Employment Equity plan.
