This application is for short to medium-term nursing opportunities in the historic resort town of Al Ula, KSA. Applicants are qualified registered nurses whose responsibilities encompass the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and care of physically ill, mentally ill, and disabled people of all ages in inpatient and outpatient settings. Nurses are responsible for the supervision and delegation of the work of assistive personnel for the quality of patient care and for the standard of nursing practice. Major Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: • Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge needs of patient/family/significant other.• Applies the Core Concepts of Patient- and Family-Centered Care (PFCC) in practice, and uses this knowledge to personalize care for each patient/family.• Recognizes the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on patient outcomes.• Partners with and utilizes patient/family input and goals in planning plan of care.• Provides quality care that meets or exceeds the expectations of value (core measures, quality matrix, patient experience, fiscally responsible).• Provides assistance to individuals in a manner that takes into account their special needs, age-related and cultural-related needs.• Recognizes the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patient and family care partners and utilizes them appropriately as resources in planning patient care.• Delegates appropriate tasks.• Demonstrates knowledge of and competently performs technical procedures and uses equipment properly.• Documents the patient record in a timely, accurate and concise manner. Develops teaching strategies for patient/family; documents education and learning appropriately in health record.• Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and is responsible for continuing personal education, mentoring peers and educating patients and families. •• Stays up to date with current health initiatives and incorporates evidence based practice and research into practice. Maintains current knowledge in area of clinical practice. • Participates in department activities, staff meetings and committees. Skills, Abilities and Educational Qualifications: • Current nurses' licensure and Bachelor's degree (required).• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered/licensed nurse in an acute care hospital setting (required).• Maintain Nursing Registration.• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates hospital mission, vision, and values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.• Demonstrates leadership, good rapport, and cooperative relationships.• Identifies areas for improvement, offers solutions and participates in their resolution.• Strives to exceed patient and family expectations within the context of a healing environment and excellent patient experience.• Maintains the confidentiality of information pertaining to patient, physicians, employees, and visitors to the hospital in accordance with hospital policy and government regulations.• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).• Hospital language of record is English. Strong English verbal and written skills required. Arabic language skills, particularly verbal, are desirable but not required.Applications may be shared with candidate-seeking organizations.
