Production Technician (Mechanical Laboratory)

A well-established company within the Manufacturing industry is seeking the expertise of a Production Technician with Mechanical Laboratory experience to join their team in the Middelburg, Mpumalanga area. This will be a permanent requirement. The Key Responsibilities for this Role IncludeEnsure Quality of testing Performed is in line with required standardsEnsuring continuous optimization of processesDevelop new test methodsValidations, revalidation and compilation of validation documentationEvaluate quality critical suppliersQualificationMinimum qualification in BEng (Metallurgy and Material Science / BSc (Hons) Material Science Experience2+ years experience relevant laboratory experience at Technician Level in testing and quality managementMust possess knowledge of mechanical and metallurgical testing processes, statistics and quality control systems, testing equipment principles, root cause analysis, method development, method validation, data analysis and interpretationExperience as a Technical Signatory in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory (advantageous) Skills RequiredTechnical skills required; Mechanical and metallurgical testing and equipment, statistics, quality principles, in depth problem solving and root cause analysisBasic people management skillsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
