Mechanical Technician - Offshore Permanent Posted 1 month ago Applications have closed SFG Engineering Job requirements: Qualification in Mechanical Engineering Offshore experience preferable 5 - 10 years hands on mechanical experience Rigging experience preferred Job responsibilities: Maintenance and repair of the engine room. In particular, the mechanical components of these systems Operation of the engine control room Assist with electrical and hydraulic repairs and maintenance Follow maintenance schedules and complete daily work reports Give on going training to assistant technicians and technical assistants Performance of any reasonable task requested by the Chief Engineer Specific Requirements/Additional information Proof of relevant Certificates of Competency (COC)/Red seal trade test National Passport National Seamans Book SAPS Police Clearance (not older than 6 months) SAMSA Medical Certificate STCW Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD) STCW Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate COVID 19 Vaccination certificate Related Jobs
