Security and Investigation Officer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security and Investigations Officer to join their team, based in East London.Successful candidate required to have a strong background in both security and investigations, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating potential risks and threats.Minimum Requirements:-Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in security and investigationsKnowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and report writing abilitiesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionExperience working with law enforcement and other agenciesProficiency in security software and systemsValid security license or certificationDuties:-Conduct thorough investigations into any security breaches or incidents, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and writing detailed reportsMonitor and analyze security systems and procedures to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary improvementsDevelop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the company's assets and personnelCollaborate with law enforcement and other agencies as needed to address security concerns and incidentsConduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential threats and recommend solutionsTrain and educate employees on security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance and awarenessMaintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents and investigationsStay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in security technology to continuously improve servicesInterested in this position?  Please email your CV + supporting documentation to terri@staffunlimited.co.za.  If you have not been contacted within 2 weeks, consider your application unsuccessful.
