Level 1 OffshoreVertical Logic, a leading local services contractor, is seeking motivated individuals for the position of Rope Access Level 1 Technician. This role involves performing various technical services while utilizing rope access techniques in offshore environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidates who possess offshore certifications and medical clearances.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform rope access tasks under the guidance of higher-level technicians in offshore settingsAssist in rigging operations and equipment setup for offshore rope access operationsConduct pre-use checks of personal rope access equipmentFollow rope access procedures, method statements, and risk assessments in offshore environmentsParticipate in rescue operations as needed offshoreOperate machinery and equipment as directed offshoreMaintain a safe and organized work environment offshoreDisplay a positive attitude towards safety, training, and teamwork in offshore settingsUphold professionalism and customer-centric focus in offshore projectsPreferred Skills and Competencies: Experience or familiarity with any of the following:PaintingBlastingLoad testingWelding (various types)Non-destructive testing (NDT)Rigging principles and techniquesOffshore certifications and clearances including:UKOG Medical ClearanceOPITO Offshore Survival CertificationSeaman's BookYellow Fever Vaccination CertificateCOVID-19 CertificationTB Test Clearance (Where needed)Confined SpaceStandby rescueBasic Qualifications:Minimum of 250 hours of rope access experienceAbility to work at heights and in challenging offshore environmentsPhysical fitness and willingness to undergo trainingGood communication and organizational skillsBasic understanding of safety rules and proceduresTrustworthy and reliableRequired Documents / Qualifications:Valid Work Permit (if applicable)Medical Clearance CertificateRope Access Level 1 CertificationLogbookOffshore certifications and clearances as mentioned above
