Blockchain Trading Software Engineer

As a Blockchain Engineer, you will join a specialised team engaged in executing proprietary trading strategies that interact with both on-chain and off-chain liquidity platforms in the cryptocurrency space. The role is based in Sydney CBD, however fully remote candidates based elsewhere in Australia may be considered. Salary: $130,000 base + super + profit share What you will do: Develop systems interacting with decentralised peer-to-peer networks and centralised exchange systems to submit trading transactions. Employ evidence-driven statistical methods to refine strategies and focus areas for further development. Delve into technical details across the entire system to gain a deep understanding in pursuit of competitive edge. Collaborate with other highly motivated engineers who will provide you with hands-on training and support. No financial or algorithmic  trading experience is required. What you bring: Understanding of on-chain liquidity platforms and services Enthusiasm to work with new and unfamiliar technologies figuring out exactly how they work. Programming proficiency in Python and in either Go or Rust Experience with the technology stack utilised by blockchains and general peer-to-peer and networking technologies is desired but not essential.
