The Specialist will comprehend and apply their product knowledge & expertise to be able to provide business building skills to successfully promote and consummate the sale of company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.This role will also be the primary driver of business development at assigned major customer call points to penetrate and grow current and new business. Additionally, performing as a technical and business development leader within the sales force that drives strategic objectives and adoption of new products while working cross functionally across the organization.As a part of our Biosciences Division, we all receive ongoing training (both technical and commercial), opportunities to learn and develop new/additional skills, participate in growth projects as well our corporate social responsibility programs or employee resource groups!POSITION SUMMARY:Selling and promoting the cell analysis portfolio including imaging (microscopy), flow cytometry analysis, flow cytometry cell sorting, high content analysis & associated consumables in a defined territory (Australia/New Zealand).Handling existing accounts and prospecting for new business that will advance sales growth.Meeting and aspiring to exceed sales targets.Providing information to and from the territory, including providing written reports as requestedPromoting the Employer's image and product reputation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESServicing and Handling the Customer BaseProduce Forward Call Cycle/Plan.Make regular customer calls either with or without the local Sales person.Identify new business opportunities to develop sales potential.Respond to enquiries and complaints that will reinforce the company's position.Sales PromotionFollow the directive selling program to improve the sales of the targeted products.Attend Trade Exhibitions as required to generate leads and prospects for the company's products.Conduct customer specific promotions to encourage sales growth and the development of a positive company position.Develop and implement technology seminars applicable to the account research focus.Product / Market Knowledge Constantly develop product knowledge through company literature and other independent sources of technical information.Acquire and report information of market trends, promotions and other activities from the marketActively take part in internal product training and the external scientific community activities.Budgets / TargetsCrucial to meet Revenue and Gross Profit sales targets set each year for the defined territory and be instrumental towards the achievement of the region goals.Meet sales targets as set for specific promotional activities.Administration and ReportsMaintain accurate and detailed customer records on the company CRM.Provide weekly sale reportsAll other requested reports by due dates.Key Account ManagementIdentify Key Accounts in defined territory that will significantly add to the sales growth in the territory.Work closely with the sales manager and Marketing to develop strategies that will develop the sales potential of the Key Accounts.Provide reports to the entire sales team on the development of the Key Accounts.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSEducated as BSc.
