As we expand our services, we are seeking four(2) dynamic and compassionate Team Leaders to join our dedicatedteam. The Role: More Than Just a Job As a Team Leader for Disability Accommodation Services in one ofour SIL houses around Oran Park, you will play a pivotal role inleading and supporting a team of passionate professionals todeliver high-quality care and support to individuals withdisabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-dayoperations of the accommodation services, ensuring aperson-centered approach that respects the dignity and autonomy ofeach individual. What We Require From You Sound Leadership Qualities: an individual whocan effectively lead a team, professionally develop and motivatestaff through ongoing mentoring, support and supervision.Service Coordination: Coordinate and implementindividualised care plans, ensuring the unique needs andpreferences of each client are met. Rostering staff on in a timelyand effective manner to meet with client demands.Proven Track-record: Demonstrated experiencein effectively managing and supporting individuals withpsycho-social conditions, mental health challenges, or relatedissues. Problem Solving Ability: Ready to address andresolve any issues or concerns related to service delivery andstaffing promptly and professionally.Strong Communicator: an individual who isempathetic, autonomous, adaptable, collaborative, shows respect,demonstrates active listening, clear and open communication, andcan maintain confidentiality, is culturally competent, and hasadvocacy ability. Facilitate clear and effective communicationbetween team members, residents and their families.Budget Management: Assist in budget planningand ensure efficient use of resources (staff included) whilemaintaining service quality.Resilient & Self-confident: Ready to tackleany challenges that come your way, providing quality care andsupport to individuals who need it the most.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office,especially Word & Outlook.Shared Values: collaborative, supportiveattitude, reliable, problem-solver, accountable, conflict resolvingability, committed, a team player, autonomous, self-aware,people-orientated, compassionate, respectful and acts withintegrity.Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluateservice delivery to ensure compliance with industry standards andregulatory requirements.Flexible: possess a professional developmentand continuous learning attitude and being open to shift work,sleepovers, weekends, and working public holidays.License and Checks: Current AustralianDriver's License and willingness to undergo background checks,including but not limited to First Aid Certificate, Police Checks,NDIS Screening Check, Working with Children Check.
