Bullet Points Company car, overtime pay and generous LAFA (Living Away from Home Allowance) Regional travel within Victoria 2-3 weeks per month Extensive training and career progression available Full Job Description Our client is an Australian-based full-servicetelecommunications company that provides end to end solutions in access, transit and wireless telecommunications networks, and offers design, installation and maintenance services, that covers regional and remote locations across Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia.

You will be based in the Tasmania warehouse for 1-2 weeks in a month where you are tasked with assembling and labelling the equipment that the team will be taking to the onsite location.

Accommodation is fully paid for and you will be receiving very generous LAFA (Living Away from Home Allowance). You can choose to pocket the allowance if you have a friend or relative you can stay with and will also be paid overtime for extra hours worked.

As a permanent, casual employee you will have annual leave and sick leave and will also be given a Company car to travel to the site in.

You will be receiving Training and Development as the company continues to grow, and be assigned to work interesting and crucial projects with Optus and Telstra contracts, while also receiving generous overtime pay and mental health allowance.

Responsibilities will include: Perform installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and fault finding of communications projects. Assist with completion of associated documentation in line with clients' procedures & quality standards. Effectively plan and organise projects including required equipment, materials and site access arrangements. Be available for travel and overtime when required to enable company tasks to be completed in the most efficient manner. Respond and attend to any allotted callouts in a timely manner while rostered on-call. Deliver projects in a timely manner while conforming to all technical and quality standards. Maintain knowledge of the network environment and the methods and practices utilised. To be successful in the role, you will need to have a Certificate III, IV or Associate Diploma in Telecommunications and/or equivalent field experience; a current Australian Driver's license; Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident.

Being physically fit, and can confidently operate and handle tools, equipment, plant / machinery and/or vehicles is also important.
