Position Summary Join a supportive and inclusive team who value interprofessional approaches and high quality therapyOpportunity to deliver a range of psychological therapies in a supportive psychology and allied health teamTemporary Part-time - 32 hours per fortnightAbout the facility The Mental Health Therapy Services develops and provides specialist assessment, consultation and evidenced-based psychotherapies as part of consumer's treatment within Barwon Health's Local and Area Mental Health and Well-being Services. This includes peer work, dedicated allied health inputs, ASD services, comprehensive psychotherapy programs for personality disorders, trauma, anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders, and a clinical psychology trainee program.
About you Clinical psychologist with 5 years + experienceSkilled in delivery of therapies to improve mental health outcomesInterest in complex presentations and team based therapies such as DBT, MBTWork collaboratively with a range of disciplinesWork well in an innovative learning spaceAbout the role Our senior clinical psychologists provide clinical leadership in the delivery of evidence based psychotherapies and specialist psychological assessment and treatment for complex mental illness. You will support expanded delivery of our therapy services into the local MH and Well-being service, and input into service development as a part of the MHTS leadership team. You will work collaboratively with peer workers, well-being staff, community clinicians, inpatient staff and psychiatrists to ensure people receive comprehensive care that helps consumer feel better. As a clinical psychologist you will provide diagnostic support and supervisory input to staff and students working across a range of therapeutic modalities including lifestyle programs drawing on nutritional psychiatry.
