The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is seeking an experienced Fraud Intelligence Analyst professional to join the agency as an APS 6 in the Intelligence and Analytics (IAB) Branch.The IAB is tasked with overseeing and maximising the utilisation of various data sources and information related to integrity. This includes analytics and reporting across these sources, encompassing intelligence products (strategic, operational, and tactical), risk vulnerability registers, and data supporting the fraud case management system. Furthermore, the IAB is responsible for effectively managing and responding to tip-offs and referrals that involve allegations of integrity issues.This recruitment process will fill immediate vacancies and will develop a merit list for future opportunities that may arise over the next 18 months. To be considered for this role, applicants must either possess or have the ability to obtain a security clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) level.Where you can add valueAs a Fraud Intelligence Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team. You will be required to provide detailed technical and operational support and advice in relation to investigation activities. Your duties may include: Using a Certificate IV in Government (Investigation) or equivalent qualification from the Public Services Training Package (PSP04) (The successful candidate will hold or be able to obtain within 12 months of commencement with the Agency) to assist in planning and creating financial intelligence outputs and results.Carrying out fraud assessments and generating financial intelligence reports for complex cases by gathering, evaluating, and analysing information.Developing financial intelligence products within specified timeframes in accordance with legislative, policy, and information security frameworks.Leading tactical intelligence projects by creating collection plans, assigning tasks Enough about us, let's talk about youYour ability to demonstrate leadership, provide strategic advice, solve complex problems, and manage potentially controversial matters will be critical to your success.
