Applicants who do not meet the criteria for the Targeted Vacancy will not be considered.Develop, coordinate, and implement projects that address domestic and family violence and other relevant reforms, and deliver improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders.Provide advice on issues related to domestic and family violence, and deliver on the region's responsibilities arising from the Government response to the "Not Now, Not Ever: Putting an End to Domestic and Family Violence in Queensland" report, which have a specific focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and people.Ensure projects managed by this position are integrated with other relevant national and state reforms, including child protection, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.Provide quality and timely advice and analysis to the Manager, Regional Director and Domestic and Family Violence Program Implementation Manager on social issues, with a focus on domestic and family violence and related matters.Develop strategic partnerships across government, industry, and broader stakeholders to ensure that partners recognise and respond to the aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders.Prepare complex and substantial reports, submissions, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence.Contribute to the region's business unit planning and operational planning processes.Contribute to the evaluation and assessment of whole-of-Government policies and programs and resulting outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.Provide advice in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander protocols, history, and issues within the Region. Open C class Queensland drivers licence is a mandatory requirement for this role as there is a requirement to undertake travel. It is also a requirement that the incumbent hold a working with children Blue Card. For some roles, it is a condition of employment to comply with the department's COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements policy. Where this policy requirement applies, employees must provide evidence of their vaccination status including having the prescribed number of doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine prior to the commencement of their employment.
