The details: Permanent Full Time $91,222 - $115,334 pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loadingQld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 5 of EBA5The appointed wage level will be dependent upon the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications. 9 day fortnight72.5 hour fortnightHybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.Location: Strathpine About our opportunityOur Project Management Department annually delivers up to $180M or approximately 550 capital/operational projects ranging from $10k to $20M per year across of variety of assets including roads, paths, bridges, parks, buildings and coastal assets. As a Project Manager - Project Development you'll be the point of contact providing expert advice, innovation and problem solving focused on managing the planning phase for capital works and infrastructure projects. You'll be: Coordinating planning phase concept design for projects, working with internal and external providers, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders;Reviewing project scopes, design review, cost estimation, constructability considerations, contract documentation, specifications, quality and environmental issuesWork independently, and interdependently with project managers on pre-construction works, streamlining production of design drawings, technical specifications, contract management requirements, stakeholder liaison and quality controlSeeking consultancy for assessment, inspections, and investigations throughout the planning period Reporting on project development and planning phase issues. About youBring your project management and construction experience including understanding of project documents, design drawings, specifications, schedules and Australian Standard contracts, as well as: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skillsHighly developed conceptual, investigative, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to contribute to fostering a healthy, inclusive and well-connected workplaceDemonstrated ability to apply critical thinking, reasoning, evaluation and decision-making skillsExcellent time management skillsDegree in architecture, engineering, construction management or other relevant field, or relevant experienceCurrent C class driver's licence (required)Construction Induction Card competency (required)Professional membership to a relevant industry provider or project management qualification (highly regarded).
