Boilermaker/Welder - Full-Time Perth Based And Overtime

Our client, a well-known and respected company that designs and manufactures a range of customisable heavy vehicles for Mining, Civil, Government, Transport and Waste Management clients in Western Australia are seeking a Boilermaker/Welder to join their team. Boilermaker/Welder: supporting the team in a safe and timely manner, this  role involves providing expert advice, repairs, installation, and maintenance across a variety of systems and vehicles efficiently to meet customer goals. Duties include -  Carry out welding and fabrication tasks to enhance the availability of mobile plant and equipment, thereby cost-effectively meeting production targets and schedules Execute requests for new installations or modifications as needed Fill out all work order paperwork thoroughly and legibly to meet maintenance planning and manufacturing data collection needs Support other maintenance personnel in their daily tasks as necessary Perform repairs and maintenance on various heavy equipment, such as trucks, trailers, and other vehicles Ensure a safe and orderly work environment Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Execute maintenance tasks to meet production goals Fill out Job Planning Sheets accurately to facilitate job completion Conduct technical inspections and estimate job requirements Offer solutions through appropriate channels Uphold high standards of cleanliness Carry out pre-start checks   Requirements Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder + 2 years experience in a similar role Demonstrated experience working on heavy equipment, particularly trucks, trailers, and earthmoving equipment Ability to troubleshoot welding  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills  Able to work unsupervised, have good time management skills and meet scheduled deadlines Benefits Competitive hourly rates and overtime are on offer Weekly pays Dedicated team who will work with you throughout your employment So much work so there is long-term job security
