Job PurposeInvolvement in the lifecycle of a tender as directed by the Tender Manager. May be involved in any of the following project activities: Technical Sales, Specification Review, Bid meetings, ERP maintenance o of data, Standard Tender Templates, Vendor pricing, Tender creation, Technical meetings with inhouse resources, cooperation between business units to provide consolidate offering, work with sales on updates to tender, tender clarification, hand over meetings from Tender to Execution, participate in learning look backs.Job Description Analyzes identified business opportunities, interprets customer requirements Consolidates, analyses and edits information needed to prepare proposals, schedules, cost/ price/ margin estimates, etc. Analyzes the proposal schedule, monitors progress and highlights potential risks for on time delivery. Recommends corrective action plans for management approval. Prepares and presents technical sales presentations Documents customer requirements and provides technical guidance related to sales strategy and proposals Supports feasibility studies of partnerships, alternatives of new approaches, etc. for offered products and services You are meant for this job if:f you have a background in Terminal Automation, especially in the oil and gas markets, both crude, refined products, and bitumen applications. Knowledge of Terminal Operations, Servers, Programmable Logic Controller or DCS or SCADA systems. Design, configuration and execution of Terminal Automation projects. Skills Basic understanding of reviewing technical documents especially client requests for quotations.Basic understanding of commercial terms and conditionsBasic understanding of Industrial AutomationBasic electrical and electronic principlesBasic understanding of engineering design/drawing standards including P&IDs, flow sheets, logic drawings, loop drawings, electrical one lines, etc.Basic understanding of Server based systems and software including building/assembly and loading of operating systems, use of application programs (i.e. - Microsoft Server, SQL, etc)Basic understanding of Networking, Networking Protocols and hardwareProgramming experience in at least one of the following: PLC ladder logic, DCS configuration, SCADA Configuration, HMI Configuration and other tools related to terminal and/or industrial automationProficient written and verbal communication skillsProficient written and verbal communications in the English LanguageUnderstanding of/and practical use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerpointAble to work in a team-oriented environmentAble to receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriatelyShows evidence of good organization and project planning skillsAble to interact with Project Execution Engineering personnel to scope out the design of automation projects.Able to interact with Product Development personnel to scope out required customizationsAble to interact with Finances personnel to determine project pricing SkillsAdditional Skills Technical Sales Specification Review Issue Tender Clarifications Being a global leader in the energy industry requires an inclusive and diverse environment.
