We receive demands by requisitions, ad hoc/projects, BPCS/MRPII reports, and enduring unprecedented demands for our products.Working at our site in Benalla - Yorta Yorta land, your sole purpose is toSelect suppliers - with attention to price, delivery, past performance, adherence to specification, quality acceptance, national agreements and preferred suppliers.Lead a small team managing the process for the Benalla and Mulwala locations.Obtain and confirm required quotations and determine the likely source of supply.Approve and refer approval of Purchase Orders and strive to achieve cost savings for all purchases.Liaise with Stores and Finance Personnel regarding receipt, delivery and reconciliation.To excel in this role, you will need:A degree in Supply Chain or equivalent related qualifications (Preferred)An Australian Citizenship - this position will need the ability to gain a Defence Clearance (of which we would sponsor)Strategic and business analysis and writing skillsIn addition, you might also holdConfidence in making judgements to represent the company at high levels with customer organisations both nationally and internationallyPrevious experience in the use of BPCs systemAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
