The ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality in the workplace. As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks in a production setting, adhering to precise specifications, and meeting production deadlines.Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal or aluminium segments using processes such as Robot Welders, Arc, Tig & Mig & flux-core.- Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials.- Examine welds and ensure that they meet required standards and/or specifications.- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery.- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Qualifications and Skills:- Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in various welding techniques.- Relevant welding certifications are preferred.- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.- Familiarity with safety standards and a strong understanding of occupational hazards related to welding.Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift equipment and products and stand for prolonged periods.- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Shifts:- Various shifts - Day/Afternoon.How to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume detailing their qualifications and experience.Flexi Personnel is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we welcome applications from all qualified candidates.If you live in or around the Bayswater area and have the experience and/or qualifications, please apply.
