Team Leader Executive Council & Appointments, Justice And Attorney-General

Your key responsibilities include:• Lead the team in the management and delivery of high quality and timely outcomes relating to significant appointments, including preparation of Cabinet Submissions, Executive Council Minutes and Ministerial, Director-General and departmental correspondence and briefing notes related to those processes.• Oversee the judicial appointment process and ensure timely outcomes working closely with the Minister's Office.• Implement processes, including maintain a comprehensive forward plan, to ensure appointments are progressed in a timely and efficient manner.• Facilitate the conduct of remuneration assessments for statutory officers as required.• Initiate and oversee recruitment processes for appointments, including working with external agencies where required.• Build and maintain effective relationships with staff in the Minister's office, Director-General's Office, departmental officers and external agencies in relation to the timely provision of services.• Build capability across the team and department and lead the effective management and continuous improvement of the department's significant appointment and Executive Council processes.• Manage projects as directed by the Director, Executive Services Branch and contribute to the Executive Services leadership team.Applications may remain current for 12 months.
