Job DescriptionProvide on-going support to hotel ambassadors and leadership team on T&C related matters, policies and procedures.Assist with driving the Talent & Culture strategic plan while ensuring optimal value of T&C to hotel departments at all times. Generate purchase orders for all areas of potential expenditure.Coordinate, create and drive employee relations/engagement initiatives, T&C events and related projects.Assist in ensuring the hotel implements its annual T&C Business Plan and Training Calendar.Participate in industry functions/workshops to ensure that your knowledge of best practice is kept up-to-date.Oversee recruitment to meet hotel workforce needs following hotel and company guidelines, including but not limited to posting job ads and writing up job flashes as well as filtering CV for the HOD's and setting up interviews.Form relationships with local colleges and training institutions for industry training partnership and graduate recruitment.Conduct exit interviews where appropriate, analyse exit feedback and address concerns.Preparation of Contracts of Employment and other Employment variations.Assist with Training Needs Analysis (TNA) where required and use this to prepare a hotel training strategy outlining activities that meet hotel and departmental operational needs within guidelines.Ensure that induction, on job training, 4 week reviews and 5 month probationary performance reviews are carried out for all new staff.Support hotel management trainee and development programs. Support the ongoing implementation of the Performance Review System.Manage Reward and Recognition programs including "Merci" and ambassador benefits.Work with the HR Manager to develop appropriate talent development incentives with the Department Head team.Assist and support the HR Business Partner in grievance claims that may be raised.Maintain an up to date knowledge of all industrial activities and changes that can effect company policy.Assist in ensuring individual ambassador files are maintained and regularly updated with all information on file as outlined in the T&C Policies and Procedures.Prepare Talent & Culture reports and analyse these reports to guide your ongoing strategies, sharing metrics with stakeholders where appropriate.Assist in managing the administrative functions across all aspects of the department including weekly payroll preparation and company software programsQualificationsHighly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
