About The Opportunity Some of your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement Day Programs to cater for groups and individualsCoordinate activities to cater for all aspects of the participants environment including social, religious and cultural requirementsManage and oversee all aspects of the program, including leading and managing a team and developing and maintaining a budgetDevelop a strong network with stakeholders, participants, families, team members and the local communityManage and document risk for the facility and ensure a commitment to continuous improvement across the facilitySupport the effective documentation and full user support of policies, procedures and IT system requirements About You The successful candidate will have:
5+ years of experience running successful day programmesCertificate III in Individual Support/ Cert IV in Disability Studies or related fields (essential)NSW driver's license, First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Strong client focus to establish a network and a professional working relationship with stakeholders and clients that is supportive and encouraging You will also have:
Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsProactive, adequate decision-making skills with the ability to multitaskStrong attention to detail and diligence in processes and policies Willingness to work outside standard 9 to 5 business hours if necessary What's in it for You?
