Leading Hand -Grounds Maintenance

We are seeking a qualified (or equivalent experience) leading hand for our lands management team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the grounds maintenance service at RAAF Woomera. This is a temporary 14:7 roster, working 11-hour days. This role is offering $40 per hour, plus overtime rates. Position include, but are not limited to:Lead a team of land management personal in day-to-day operations of teamOperate and maintain equipment in accordance with the Operator's Manual and maintenance schedulesEnsure safe and on time completion of allocated work. Complete all safety requirementsUpkeep and maintain gardens and lawns as directedParticipate in general labouring of the grounds, (and assist other trades and services) building and plumbing trade sites or as directedSkills and Experience:Have experience in parks and gardens maintenance (or similar), including relevant plant and tool operationHorticultural degree or ticketMicrosoft and SAP would be an advantageForklift, bobcat, excavator, chainsaw and/or relevant power tool tickets - desirableApply Online Today!
